Hey uknick, firstly welcome to MacRumors ;)
Yeah, I'm going to wait and order mine. I'm not rushing in to it. I'll order mine online also, unless I have good reason to pop in to town and buy the iPad2 from the local Bristol store. I'm still wondering if I really need it or not. Still deciding, but temptation is strong! :rolleyes:

I bought the first gen a year ago and never regretted it ( sold it on eBay before the new one was announced :-)) it is by far the best gadget I have ever owned and believe me I have tried many! I even had a brief flirtation with a Galaxy Tab over recent weeks - but it only took me a few days before I gave up and stuck it back on eBay! Once you have tasted Apple other fruits taste just bland ;-)
I can't wait to get the new one particularly for AirPlay with my Apple TV.
I would be going to Bristol if I wasn't working today. Hope that there might be one with my name on somewhere in London.
One last small point - can you veleive that Orange block this site on my iPhone because they say it is "adult content" that really annoys me - it wouldn't happen on my 3 SIM used in my iPad!

I am thinking about driving home next weekend from school so it's possible that I might attend the Leopard launch in Wellington. My parents live in Royal Palm Beach so it's not far. If I drive home, I'll come back and update my status so we can meet up there.

Yea I heard Charlotte Target only had 5 too and yea I got the 32gb white like I wanted. They came out and passed out tickets at 4:30 but there were still a lot of people waiting in line without a ticket. I'm sure there were a lot of angry people. The line was wrapped around the building I'm glad I came when I did because it started to pick up around 3:30. But Launch day is over not so I'm hoping cases start coming out on Amazin because I refused to buy one in the store.

Actually the command exists currently. Click on your desktop or select the finder then hit 'option-apple-h'. This will hide everything but the finder. You can actually use this in any program to hide everything except your front most program.
Unfortunately you have to go to the application or finder menu and choose show all at the bottom to bring them all back if you want to. There isn't a shortcut for that.

Anyone able to get splashtop to work over 3g using a mac osx or windows vista. I can connect fine over wifi but i cannot get 3g to work. i opened the ports etc... i read the tutorials at splashtop 10x but i cannot get it to work :(
i am using fios with and actiontec wireless router.
any help is GREATLY appreciated!

These images look more closely like concept for the next iPod Touch, NOT the next iPhone. Where's the silence switch? Why would it be a curved back? Why the hell would there be a metal back? Where are the Cameras? I'd honestly go Android and never look back in the next iPhone looked like this.

I know a lot of people are worried about not receiving their copy by the 26th, though - as am I.
Guess we'll see, but I have confidence Apple can manage to mail a disc in time. I'm just wondering if they are planning on overnighting them or trying to time it out via slower mail. Overnighting probably wouldn't be that expensive for them with their quantity discount and for such small packages. At least I have the benefit of being in major city, a couple miles from the airport, and within walking distance of the distribution centers for USPS, UPS and FedEx. :)

I remember this rumor being circulated before the 3G was even released.
